Customer Success Manager

MITS, the leading provider of reporting and business intelligence solutions for distributors and manufacturers, is looking for a Customer Success Manager (CSM). This position offers a great opportunity for a positive, self-starter to accelerate their customer success career.

As MITS’ first CSM, you will be responsible for the customer’s journey after purchasing our analytics platform. You will confirm adoption and assist the customer in achieving the goals they set to achieve using MITS. You will offer advice and give a friendly push for change when needed and as appropriate. Though the position will not involve conducting sales, the CSM will need to recognize if a sales opportunity exists for either add-on products or service work in the context of helping the customer adopt and succeed with MITS.

The CSM will also be responsible for monitoring existing customer health and proactively reaching out to customers that are in need of adoption assistance. Additionally, as the “voice of the customer”, you will provide any feedback pertaining to all aspects of the MITS platform, helping MITS to perfect our offering and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the on-boarding process for new customers
  • Coordinate MITS resources to help customers be successful with the product
  • Reach out to at-risk customers based on health scoring process
  • Provide feedback to other divisions of MITS to improve customer experience
  • Recognize additional sales and service opportunities within the context of helping customers be successful, and refer them to the appropriate MITS department
  • Work iteratively to improve our CSM process
  • Be proficient in demonstrating the MITS platform and be able to help customers solve problems with it

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiar with business practices and processes, experience in distribution or manufacturing a bonus
  • Comfortable reaching out to, and communicating with, all levels of a customers’ organizational structure (from CEO to IT)
  • Detail oriented and well organized
  • Familiar with, or able to quickly learn, complex software platforms (CRM, ERP, MAP)
  • Caretaker personality
