According to the Aberdeen Group's recent report, "Visualization: Set Your Analytics Users Free," visual data discovery might be the key to helping users in organizations of all types and sizes make more fact-based, versus intution-based, decisions.

After surveying 124 organizations (29 of which are already using visual data discovery and 95 which are not), Aberdeen found that "managers in organizations using visual data discovery tools are 28% more likely than their peers that just use managed reporting and dashboards to find timely information."

The Aberdeen report talks about how visual data discoverty is ushering in a new era of business analytics, the hallmark of which is putting the power into the hands of users to "act independently, to manipulate data, and find the answers to unanticipated questions..."

We agree, and are thrilled to be rolling out data visualization with MITS Discover 9.0.
